About Me
My
name is Steven Kelly Dixon. People usually call me Steve. I am 51
years old and married. I am a veteran of the Marine Corps, having
served from June 1975 to June 1979. I was honorably discharged with
the rank of Sergeant, having earned two meritorious promotions, a
meritorious mast and the Good Conduct Medal. I worked as an aviation
electrician on F-4J Phantom II's. Go to

Once I left the Marines, I went to college and three years later I
had a degree in Philosophy. While attending college I had a part
time job with the local TV station and have been involved in TV or
media production ever since. Currently I am employed with Newscorp
at
FOX 5 in Atlanta serving as a web producer.
I have been married 21 years. My wife, Lisa, works for Progressive
Insurance. I have two daughters and one son; Sarah 18, Deanna 16,
and Brian, 10. For more on the family you can go

I also serve as VP South and webmaster to the
70th Infantry Division
Association. My grandfather on my dad's side served with 270th
Engineers - the engineers for the division. I also serve as
webmaster of the 33rd
Infantry Division Association. My step-grandfather served with
Company I, 130th Infantry Regiment, 33rd Infantry Division.
My hobbies are computers (no kidding), reading science fiction and World War 2
history, and playing games...any kind will do. The best that I have
consistently played over the last few years are "Combat Mission:
Beyond Overlord", "Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin" and "Combat
Mission: Afrika Korps", all published by
Battlefront.com. It doesn't get any
better than these games! |
